Julia soares, director of operations

Julia Soares was born and raised in Barrington, Rhode Island. She earned her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Gettysburg College, where she also competed on the Division III field hockey team and minored in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

Julia joined Sheehan & Associates Law in 2020 as a paralegal and has since grown into the role of Director of Operations. In this capacity, she oversees the firm’s administrative staff and manages the implementation of firm-wide systems and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

Now based in Los Angeles, Julia works remotely and stays active in her local community. She coaches high school field hockey and enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, painting, and reading. Passionate about social justice, Julia volunteers with several nonprofit organizations, including ACCESS Reproductive Justice and United Parents & Students (UPAS). She began her Master’s in Public Policy and Administration at California Lutheran University in August 2025.
